like i mentioned before, my cooperating teacher had a baby. she sent pictures and one was of the new baby when she was VERY new and still had some of that just born stuff on her.
making a connection to our study of butterflies (which expel this stuff called myconium--looks like blood but isn't--when they come out of their cocoons) a student yells out,
"don't worry guys! that's just her myconium!"
