new language of south america

my class has been writing their own "world books" about the continents. today we learned about south america. one student wrote this based off of the facts we read: (all spelling/capitalization/etc is his. not mine)

South America has this statue of christ the Redeemer.  Their are 2 cinds (kinds) of people in South America. one is the native indians. the other is the incas. South America is made up of raneforest. One of the most dandris (dangerous) animal att south America is the piranha.  The 2 bigist river in the world is the Amazon River.

i read his paper and reminded him that most of his sentences are not true. for example, alot of people live in South America, not just Native Indians and Incas. Also, South America has a big rain forest, but is not entirely a rain forest. I reminded him that penguins can live in South America which means the entire place cannot possibly be rain forest.

so he wrote

South America has this statue of christ the Redeemer. Most of South America is a raneforest. Only a tine (tiny) bit is sitis (cities). One of the most dandris (dangerous) animal att south America is the piranha. The 2 bigist river in the world is the Amazon River.

Again, I pointed out the error of his new sentences AND reminded him that he forgot to tell me anything about the people that live there. he said:
j: but ms. barnes, i don't know anything about the people.
me: what language do they speak?
j: i can't remember.
me: they speak spanish in most places and portugese in brazil.
j: ok.
me: can you write a sentence about that?
j: yes.

here is what he thinks is his final copy:

South America has this statue of christ the Redeemer.  Some of the South America is a rane forist. The langwig (language) they speke is chines langwig. One of the most dandris animal att south America is the piranha.  The 2 bigist river in the world is the Amazon River.
honestly? chinese?
