One of my very bright kids noticed that when I'm thinking really hard I will stare off and bite my lip. As I was doing this one day I heard her to say to another student, "Don't worry. She's not looking at you. She's just thinking. I used to think she was mad at me all the time staring at me so hard, but she's just thinking."
Sorry for staring at you.

Acrostic
A sweet little lady gave me an acrostic poem today
O-often here (i think i'm always here.)
G-giving (that's kind of her to say)
D-does stuff for us (true.)
E-end fights (ha!)
N-ndoor fun (as opposed to outdoor fun.)
